Checklist of the mosses of sub-Saharan Africa (version 5)

This new version of the checklist is much longer than earlier versions because all known sub-Saharan African synonyms are now included, but it also includes all newly published records since the last checklist, and some changes to nomenclature.

This checklist is now in its fifth updated version, and is published as Tropical Bryology Research Reports (2006) 6: 1-252. Due to its length, printed copies are not available as they would be too expensive (approx £30 at cost), but it can be downloaded free from here in Microsoft Word 2003 format, or viewed (and saved) in Acrobat PDF format. The PDF version is not compressed as it makes little difference to the size of the file.
